April Edinger of Hartsville and Tristan Adams of Seneca were united in marriage on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at St. Luke United Methodist Church. The Rev. Shelly Holder of St. Luke United Methodist Church and the Rev. Tracy Hamilton of Tri-County Worship Center officiated at the ceremony. A reception was held at The Pavilion at Lawton Park.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Fred Edinger of Hartsville. She is the granddaughter of Cal and the late Ruth Edinger of Rosemead, Calif., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Allen of Ramseur, N.C.
She is a graduate of Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology in Darlington and Columbia College with a degree in elementary education. She is employed with Oconee County School District.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Adams of Seneca. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Adams of Moss Point, Miss., the late Mr. and
Mrs. Hoyt Burnett and Gill Watkins of Brandon, Miss.
He is a graduate of Seneca High School in Seneca and the University of South Carolina with a degree in media arts. He is employed with Masterpeace Sound.
Music was performed by the Firenze Quartet, Brian Heyward, Tristan Adams and Frances Nichols.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal ivory wedding gown. The bodice of her strapless gown featured a dropped waist and was encrusted with beads and sequins. The hipline was wrapped by a café colored satin band gathered by a beaded detail in front and back. The A-line skirt was an organza overlay and was decorated at the bottom by more silver embroidery and beadwork and cascaded to a chapel-length train. For her hair, the bride chose a single layer of ivory, fingertip tulle veiling that was edged in silver embroidery with hand beading. She carried a bouquet of white tulips, roses and lilies.
Maid of honor was Micah Adams of Seneca, sister of the groom.
Matron of honor was Kelly Edinger, sister-in-law of the bride, of Rock Hill.
Bridesmaids were Karen Cook, Valerie Hite and Hilary Krueger, all of Columbia, Frances Nichols of Greenville and Hali Porter of Charlotte, N.C.
Flower girl was Katelyn Haile of Powdersville. Ring bearer was Landon Adams, brother of the groom, of Seneca.
Best man was Jonathan Adams, father of the groom, of Seneca.
Groomsmen were Josh Adair of Columbia, Paul Edinger, brother of the bride, of Rock Hill, Brandt Farmer of Winder, Ga., Brad Fawyer of Seneca, Chris Haile of Powdersville and Jacob Shockley of Columbia.
Ushers were Greg Bajan, Drew Daniels, Jordan Spillane and Robbie Williams.
Register attendants were Meagan Lehrmann and Kim Richardson. Program attendants were Ashley Barnes and Amie Hedden.
The couple enjoyed a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon, and they now reside in Seneca.

The rehearsal dinner, held on the Coker College campus, was hosted by the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Adams, Micah and Landon.
The couple was honored by several gatherings given by friends.
A Christmas bridal shower was hosted by Frances Nichols, Hilary Krueger and Valerie Hite on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, in Greenville.
The Bible Study Class of St. Luke UMC, including Mike and Carol Atkinson, Dennis and Lyndell Becker, Winky and Mary Frances Black, Willard and Sylvia Brown, Jack and Mary Josey, Phil and Sara Odom, and Ed and Jan Rothe honored the couple with a miscellaneous drop-in on Saturday, Jan. 24.
Darlene Maxwell and Susan Henderson had a luncheon and linen shower in Camden on Saturday, Feb. 7, for the bride.
On Saturday, Feb. 28, Teresa Lee, Shelby Lee, Deana Grant, Jean Alford, Shannon Hamilton and Wanda Jones of Tri-County Worship Center and Corinth Baptist Church in Seneca gave a bridal shower.
The James M. Brown Elementary School third-grade team hosted a shower on Thursday, March 12, in Walhalla.
Karen Cook gave a lingerie shower in Columbia on Saturday, March 28.
A bridal breakfast honoring the bride and her attendants was given Saturday, April 11, with Sara Odom as hostess.
