On Saturday, April 4, 2009, Emily Ann Bohachic and Michael John Bobbitt were married in the garden of La Vieille Maison, in Greenville, S.C.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Donald Luke Syfert of Dawsonville, GA.
A reception was held afterward in the lovely dining area of the one-hundred year old home.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Joseph Bohachic, of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. Her grandparents are Mrs. Harry Gibson Moody Sr. and the late Mr. Harry Gibson “Mutt” Moody and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bohachic all of Dillon, S.C. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Herbert Bobbitt of Easley, S.C., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Berry Bobbitt of Sanford, N.C., the late Mr. and Mrs. John Pride Fox of Statesville, N.C.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a formal flared gown of ivory Italian satin detailed with crystals and beaded embroidery by Jasmine Bridal Collection. Emily’s headpiece was a tiara of beaded pearls also worn by her mother and her sister on the day of their weddings. She carried a bouquet of orange roses and orange Gerber daisies.
Audrey Bohachic Barrett of Alpharetta, GA, was her sister’s Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Johnsie Elizabeth Bohachic, cousin of the bride, Mrs. Caroline Brigman Mishoe; Mrs. Jeni Notareschi Verdery and Mrs. Alison Hardy Moody.
James Robert Bobbitt, Palm Coast, Fla., served as his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Mr. Thomas Wilson Morrow II, Mr. George Robinson Stokely, Mr. Edward Bulfin Purcell III and Mr. Thomas Paul Griffin, all are friends of the groom.
Master Benjamin Avery Barrett, nephew of the bride, served as Junior groomsman.
Wedding music was provided by The Herald Trio, a string ensemble from Seneca, S.C., and vocalist, Ms. Tonya Tarver.
Program attendants were Miss Jamie Lynn Notareschi and Miss Rena Lynn Notareschi .
After a honeymoon to Jamaica, Emily and Michael are residing in Greenville, S.C.
