FLORENCE -  Country music fans in the Pee Dee have a rare opportunity to meet a celebrity face to face this Saturday afternoon (November 21) when rising star Colt Ford makes a personal appearance at Mike Reichenbach Ford Lincoln Mercury in Downtown Florence.

The singer is in town to open the sold out Jason Aldean concert in Florence Saturday night. During Ford’s appearance Saturday afternoon, Mike Reichenbach will give away five pair of tickets to the sold out concert in conjunction with WEGX FM Eagle 92.9.

“It’s a natural – Colt Ford with our Ford Trucks” said Mike Reichenbach, president and owner of the dealership, “and a great start to the holidays!” New Ford trucks have special savings of up to $10,000 this week for the event. Fans who are 18 years old or older can register at the dealership this week until Saturday afternoon for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the concert. One lucky winner gets to sit in on Jason Aldean’s live sound check Saturday afternoon.

The Saturday night concert in Florence is part of Aldean’s “Wide Open” tour and has been sold out since the first of November. Aldean’s current single “Big Green Tractor” is #1 on the country charts. Colt Ford brings an eclectic blend of music styles to the country scene, coined “hick hop”, combining the rhythms and sing/talk of hip hop with traditional country. The Georgia native released his first album, Ride Through the Country, in December 2008, which includes the singles “Ride Through the Country” and “No Trash in My Trailer.“ Both songs received extensive air play locally on WEGX Eagle 92.9.
