Florence attorney Miller honored by HEAT

Florence attorney Michael Miller recently was honored by the Horry Environmental Action Team (HEAT) with “The HEAT Is ON” award for his efforts to ensure clean air and water for the residents of Horry County.
The award, which was awarded for the first time this year, is designed to recognize people who make contributions to safe and healthy communities.
HEAT was formed to address threats to clean air and water, specifically in Horry County, is a local chapter of the Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League, and has about 10 members, led by president Julie Harbin.
