Credit workshop to be offered in Florence

A workshop, “Understanding Your Credit,” will be offered from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at First Reliance Learning Center, 2148 W. Palmetto S., Florence.

Nancy Watts, mortgage underwriter, will lead the workshop. The cost is $5.

Participants will learn how to request a credit report; understand agency credit reporting; read a credit report; the effects of credit and how to correct damaged correct.

Pre-registration is required by Oct. 16. Class size is limited to the first 25 participants.
