Community Develop Corp. of Marlboro County offers free financial classes

Community Development Corp. of Marlboro County is offering free financial education/IDA and first-time home buyer classes.

The first class and registration was Oct. 6. 

These are five- and six-week courses that are being held on Tuesday of each week in the CDC conference rooms from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. 

These courses cover saving, budgeting, importance of good credit, how to clean up your credit the right way, etc., and the complete home buying process.

There also will be speakers from the local community such as a member of a financial institution, Realtor and insurance agent.

These courses are required for both financial education/IDA and first-time homebuyers.  All class materials are provided. After finishing the course the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.
