Chaplin, Snowden named to First Bank’s Florence Advisory Board

R. Andrew Chaplin and Terrie Snowden have been appointed to First Bank’s Florence Advisory Board.

Chaplin founded Palmetto Commercial Real Estate, a full-service brokerage firm specializing in office, retail, industrial, land and income properties, in early 2001 after 17 successful years in the commercial real estate field. He is on the Florence County Progress Board, the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce Board and is involved with the Florence Urban Planning Commission and the Kiwanis Club of Florence.

Snowden has more than 25 years experience as an insurance broker and is the owner of The Snowden Co., an insurance agency, and a co-owner of Osbornes Inc., a special events and catering company.

The Florence Advisory Board acts as a liaison for First Bank and the local community. Appointed members provide feedback and insight on how to best serve Florence and surrounding areas. First Bank has two branches in Florence: 2170 W. Evans St. and 452 Second Loop Road.
