SiMT to have open house events

The Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology (SiMT) at Florence-Darlington Technical College will have an open house for business and industry professionals May 7 and 8.
The SiMT, located behind the college’s main campus, houses state-of-the-art labs and a manufacturing arena for training new and existing industry workforces.
Demonstrations of the SiMT facilities and equipment begin at 9:30 a.m. each day.
