Workshops to help homeowners avoid foreclosure

The Homeownership Resource Center, a division of Family Services Inc. based in Charleston, will hold mortgage default counseling workshops to assist homeowners having trouble paying their mortgage May 5 and 19 at the Drs. Bruce & Lee Foundation Library, 509 S. Dargan St., Florence.
The HUD-approved mortgage default counseling workshops are free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Children cannot be accommodated.
