Rural Development workshop scheduled for Hartsville

Staff from the office of U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina will provide a workshop for the Hartsville area Wednesday to highlight USDA – Rural Development competitive grants and other opportunities that may be used to provide low-interest loans to public and nonprofit organizations.
The workshop will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the S.C. Governor’s School for Science and Math, 401 Railroad Ave.
The workshop will specifically cover the USDA – Rural Development business programs and community facilities programs.
Another workshop will be provided in Kingstree later.
