Business Resource Group LLC, a member of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, has opened its doors at Horry-Georgetown Technical College, partnering with the college’s Harold Swanner Entrepreneur Center.
The center provides education, consulting from BRG and free counseling from the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). As an affordable resource, BRG helps small-business owners focus on increasing revenue, controlling expenses to enhance profitability and planning for the future.
BRG has carved a niche in small business consulting, offering long-term coaching and consulting along with traditional short-term project solutions. Among the services offered are:
- Loan application package assistance
- Writing and revising business plans
- Employee/employer training
- Business evaluation, analysis and assessment
- Business valuation and negotiation for buying/selling a business
“BRG was founded by a group of entrepreneurs with strong and diverse backgrounds, and we are fortunate to have formed a partnership with the college,” said Tony Hurst, president. “We believe in small business and think the Entrepreneur Center at HGTC is in the best interest of the community. We are proud to be part of an organization where small-business owners can get solutions to the problems they face in today’s economy.”
