TRACK: Flashes finish as runners-up

COLUMBIA — Johnsonville’s girls finished second to Allendale-Fairfax on Saturday in the Class A state championship track meet, falling 91-88.

The Flashes won a pair of individual golds in the 4x100-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay.

Johnsonville’s London Barnhill won the pole vault and teammate Christina Pajaro finished second.

Timmonsville’s Shannon Johnson won gold in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.63 seconds.

Lamar’s Quanecia Allen won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.49 and took the 100-meter hurdles in 15.99 seconds.
