Clemson comes back to beat Tennessee Tech

CLEMSON — Jeff Schaus’ double down the left-field line in the bottom of the ninth scored Addison Johnson and Chris Epps and gave Clemson a 5-4 come-from-behind win over Tennessee Tech in the Clemson NCAA baseball regional on Friday.

The Tigers (41-19) play Oklahoma State in a winner’s bracket game at 7 p.m. Tennessee Tech and Alabama play an elimination game at 3 p.m.

Tennessee Tech (30-23-1) led 2-0 after three and made it a 4-1 lead in the fifth when Alex Henry scored on a wild pitch and Chad Oberacker scored when A.J. Kirby-Jones
reached on an error.

The Tigers made it a one-run game in the bottom of the inning when Jason Stolz scored on a wild pitch and Schaus homered.
