High winds Monday night damaged this trailer, located off TV Road near Interstate 95 in Florence.

Strong winds associated with some thunderstorms caused some power outages in the area around TV Road in northern Florence County on Monday night.

There were a couple of large trees down on Laurel Circle in Florence on Monday night due to strong winds about 8:30 p.m.

Jason Keaton, who lives on Laurel Circle said that 4 trees near his house fell down.

SCDOT was called to remove one of the trees on Laurel Circle, and Pee Dee Electric was on scene to restore power in the area.

No one was injured.

What’s left of a tree is scattered along the side of Pocket Road after it was apparently cut up following high winds in northern Florence County Monday night.
