Holcombe Land Development officials say they filed eviction papers against the Smosska company on September 23.

Smosska, which officialsy say made patient medical informatin cards, had been operating in Florence out of an office at 2137C Hoffmeyer Road. Holcombe Land Development owns that office.

HLD officials tell News 13 that they filed the eviction papers after failing to receive rent payments from Smosska. They say they received a prorated payment on July 10, when the company moved in to the the office. They also received a bad check for August rent on August 25. HLD officials say that Smosska did not make any other rent payments.

HLD officials say they have not heard from Smosska since filing the eviction notice, and they are not sure if the company is still operating out of the Hoffmeyer office.

They say that if Smosska has not moved out by October 23, they will have to meet them in court.

Smosska officials were not immediately available for comment.

I was sent to smosska by the unemployment office- and I paid the 40 bucks, because I didnt want to lose my unemployment benefits by not doing what they old me to do. It’s sad that people do his kind of crap to anyone, but especially to people who have been laid off from their jobs and are just trying to work. They should be made to refund any money made from this!

Well imagine that…I just feel sorry for the people who did give them $40 in hopes of a job.  These people will get what is coming to them.  Just wish they hadn’t stole from others…and don’t say the people who paid “got what they deserved” unless you have been in their shoes.

I knew this company was not reputable from the start.  A reputable company does not charge people for finding a job.  This just goes to show you that this company was willing to take people’s grocery money for personal gain!  They should be evicted and run out of town!
