Longs man charged in Florence County stabbing

Florence County sheriff’s deputies have arrested an Horry County man in connection with a recent stabbing.
Troy Tereal Gibson, 17, of 125 Blue Ridge Circle, Longs, is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill, according to a press release from the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect is accused of stabbing a person twice in the torso during an argument Friday on Patriot Lane outside Florence.
Gibson has been released from the Florence County Detention Center in Effingham on a $15,000 surety bond.
