Darlington County bar fight ends in parking lot death
DARLINGTON — Deputies are investigating the shooting death early Saturday morning at a Darlington County club, Darlington County Chief Deputy Sheriff Tom Gainey said.
Roosevelt Patterson, 36, of Darlington was pronounced dead at a local hospital as a result of a gunshot wound, according to a press release issued Saturday by Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee.
The incident began during an altercation inside the Gold Rush on U.S. 52 North, he said.
The victim was gunned down in the parking lot.
Deputies arrested 25-year-old Anthony Edwards of Hartsville and charged him with murder. Edwards is being held at the Darlington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing before a circuit court judge.

I heard about this crime.Yeah London is correct about A-Pod in DCDC. That place gets really crazy for inmates. You will be locked down and only come out for 1 hour a day. The food will even drive you nuts. It will get worse for you when you are sent to R&E;in Columbia. Because more than likely you will be sent to a Level 3 camp like Lee CI. And you better pray that you do not get assigned to Chesterfield Unit(Man up,because theres no wolfing going to help you). What a waste for your life.

And, I didn’t know that were a certified body guard! Nothing has changed for you except this time you murdered a man! And on his wedding day! HEARTLESS!
