Closings list for New Year holiday in the Pee Dee

The following is a list of closings in the Pee Dee because of the New Year holiday.
— Federal government offices will be closed Thursday.
— U.S. Post Offices will be closed Thursday.
— State government offices will be closed Wednesday through Friday.
— S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles offices will be closed Wednesday through Saturday. In addition, SCDMV offices that offer Saturday services will be closed this Saturday, although customers can process many transactions online at http://www.scdmvonline.com.
— Florence County offices will be closed Thursday. Florence County Landfill and Recycling Centers will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday, reopening Friday.
— Florence city offices will be closed Thursday.
— Coward town offices will be closed Thursday. Garbage collection will take place Friday instead of Thursday.
— Johnsonville city offices will be closed Thursday. Thursday’s garbage will be collected along with Friday’s route.
— Lake City city offices will be closed Thursday. Garbage will not be collected that day.
— Olanta town offices will be closed Thursday.
— Pamplico town offices will be closed Thursday.
— Quinby town offices will be closed Thursday. Trash pickup will take place Friday instead of Thursday.
— Scranton town offices will be closed Thursday.
— Timmonsville town offices will be closed Thursday.
— Darlington city offices will be closed Thursday. Thursday’s garbage will be collected along with Friday’s route.
— Hartsville city offices will be closed Thursday.
— Lamar town offices will be closed Thursday.
— Society Hill town offices will be closed Thursday.
— Darlington County offices will be closed Thursday. Darlington County Landfill and Recycling Centers will be closed Thursday.
