Marion County Sheriff Mark Richardson said two people have been arrested and charged with several residential burglaries in the county and two others have been arrested in connection with a Mullins home fire.

Richardson said Daniel Ross Fladger, 18, of Marion, was arrested on Feb. 16 and has been charged with burglary second degree, four counts, and Dave Kinslar Wilson, 19, of Marion, was arrested on Feb. 17 and charged with burglary second degree. Also, Richardson said, search warrants were executed and deputies recovered stolen property, including guns, cell phones and play station game boxes at Fladgers house. Wilson’s mother gave officers consent to search the garage but nothing was found. A previous version of this story said both homes had been searched.

Several of these items have not been identified, Richardson said, adding that if anyone has had items stolen, they should come to the Sheriff’s Office to see Investigator James Lee or Neil Rouse.

The burglary arrests stem from incidents earlier this month, including one on Feb. 11 and one on Feb. 12, both near Centenary. More charges may be made against the two, Richardson said.

Four juveniles have also been charged with burglary, Richardson said, in unrelated cases. They will be tried in juvenile court, he said.

Richardson said that on Feb. 13, deputies arrested Jerell Lamont Milian, 23, of Mullins, for accessory before the fact of a felony and Larry Wilson, 50, of Marion, for burglary second degree and arson second degree.

On Feb. 13, Mullins firefighters responded to a call at 4027 Bill Gause Road, where they found a mobile home on fire. According to a Sheriff’s Office incident report, Jeffrey Jerome Genwright reported that Wilson and Milian went into Genwright’s home and started a fire in his master bedroom.

According to witnesses, the two men were seen entering and leaving the home, and as they were leaving, smoke was coming from the mobile home. It was a total loss, firefighters said. Deputies found the two men in a white Cadillac in a ditch, just down the road from the house.

Both were placed under investigative detention and taken to the Marion County jail. They have since been charged in connection to the home fire.
