Spots for Vietnam veterans trip to D.C. filling up fast
There’s still time to sign up for a trip for Vietnam veterans to the Vietnam War Memorial in Washignton, D.C. this fall.
The trip happens November 8th and 9th, and the cost is $200 per person.
According to a press release from Vietnam Veterans Of America Chapter 925, that cost covers transportation, one night in a hotel, dinner on Saturday evening, breakfast and lunch on Sunday, and admission to Arlington National Cemetery.
The group will attend services Saturday Evening at the World War II Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Wall and the Iwo Jima Memorial.
On Sunday, the group will tour Arlington National Cemetery, including a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier.
