SCDOT sets public meeting for Conway intersection project

CONWAY - The South Carolina Department of Transportation has scheduled a public information meeting Monday, April 20, concerning the intersection improvement project at Cates Bay Road, Janette Street, and 9th Avenue in Conway.

The meeting will be between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the South Conway Elementary School, 3001 4th Ave.

According to a news release, the purpose of the meeting is to provide information regarding the intersection improvement project and to solicit input from area residents. Another purpose of the meeting will be to gather information from the public or any interested organization on historic or cultural resources in the area.

The meeting will have a drop-in format, with displays for viewing. Citizens will have the opportunity to provide written comments.

Representatives from SCDOT will be available to answer questions.
