If you want fresh fruits and vegetables in Myrtle Beach, you can get them more often.

Myrtle Beach city leaders voted to open the Farmers Market on Saturdays.

Council members say increased demand helped them decide to open the farmers market an additional day, which will cost the city about $8,000.

The Farmers Market is already open Wednesdays and Fridays.  The three-day schedule starts in July.

The Myrtle Beach Farmer’s Market is located on Mr. Joe White Avenue at Oak Street.

The market features fresh fruits and vegetables, including seasonal favorites such as strawberries, and more.

Call 843-457-5618 if you’re a vendor and would like to participate.

The Conway Farmer’s Market is located under the Waccamaw Memorial Bridge in Conway.
