Mosquitio spraying scheduled in Horry County

Horry County will begin mosquito spraying, weather permitting, in the following areas: Carolina Forest, Galivants Ferry and Cate Bay, according to a news release issued by the Horry County Public Safety Committee. 
Aerial spraying will be conducted in the evenings usually between 7 p.m. and dusk. While, ground operations will be conducted from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Monday – Thursday through July 31, the release said.
Official warn Malathion poses little risk to humans or animals, but recommend residents bring children and pets indoors. As well as keep windows and doors closed during spraying.
