Horry County Police announces safety check points

Officers with the Horry County Police Department will be conducting safety check points in various areas of Horry County during the month of July.

According to a news release from the HCPD, the purposes of these safety check points are to detect for Driving Under the Influence along with vehicle and driver license checks.

These check points will be conducted on different dates and times throughout the month of July.
