Robin Michelle Owens of Hemingway and James Earlston Hudson of Salemburg, NC, were married on Feb. 28, 2009, at St. Paul Methodist Church.
David George performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin LeGrand Owens Sr. of Hemingway. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lucille Snowden and the late Mr. William Snowden of Hemingway and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Owens of Hemingway.
She is a graduate of Francis Marion University and is employed by Pee Dee Pathology, as a histotechnicican.
The bride wore a strapless Casablanca satin gown, with dramatic beadwork accentuating the waistline. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers, roses and tulips, wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Earlston Hudson of Salemburg, NC. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Evander Pope of Salemburg, NC, Mrs. Rena Hudson and the late Mr. Taft Hudson of Salemburg, NC.
He is a graduate of N.C. State University, and is the manager of Southern States.
Matron of honor was Charlene Fowler Boykin, friend of the bride.
Best man was David Earlston Hudson, father of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Miss Parker Madelynn Owens, niece of the bride, Mrs. Jeannie Paulette Owens, sister-in-law of the bride, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Creed, daughter of the groom, and Mrs. Gwendolyn Hardwick Alford, friend of the bride.
Groomsmen were Mr. Daniel Earlston Hudson, son of the groom, Mr. Tucker Smyrl Creed, son-in-law of the groom, Mr. Mason LeGrand Owens, nephew of the bride, and Mr. Martin LeGrand Owens Jr., brother of the bride.
Wedding music performed by Staci Lyerly, pianist, and Donna Owens, soloist.
A reception followed at The Florence Country Club in Florence.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will live in Florence.
