Evans-Watford

Fred and Marilyn Evans of Lamar announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaci Brooke Evans, to John Everette Watford III, son of John Everette Watford Jr. of Lamar and David and Joni Walker of Florence.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margie Truett and the late Hilton Truett of Lamar, Fred Evans Sr. of Lake City and the late Mattie Reynolds of Timmonsville.
She is a graduate of Robert E. Lee Academy in Bishopville and attends Florence-Darlington Technical College. She is employed by Christian Pathway Starting Steps School in Lamar.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Nellie Mimms and the late Robert Mimms of Florence, the late John Arthur Ham of Timmonsville, the late John Everette Watford Sr. of Lamar and the late Katherine Watford of Lamar.
He is a graduate of Lamar High School and attended
Florence-Darlington Technical College. He is employed by Altman Tractor Co. in Florence.
The wedding will be Dec. 13, 2008, at Lamar United Methodist Church in Lamar.
