Collins-Nevels
Amy Leigh Collins of Florence and Mikle Reginald Nevels of Florence were married at 6 p.m. April 25, 2009, at Christian Assembly Church.
The Rev. Leroy Welch performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Collins Sr. of Florence. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rowell of Florence and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Collins of Florence. She is a graduate of Francis Marion University and is employed by Panache Creative Hair Salon as a hairstylist.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Cantley of Coward. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bing Sharpe of Florence. He is employed at Progress Energy Nuclear Plant as operations supervisor.
Maids of honor were Tiffany and Jennifer Collins, sisters of the bride.
Best man was Bing Sharpe, grandfather of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Laurel Jeffers, Megan Goff, Megan MacEachern, Amber MacEachern, Kira Brown and Renee Tedder.
Groomsmen were Dayton Cantley, brother of the groom, Michael Floyd, David Bird, Billy Venable, Chuck Rogers, Doug Brown and Kevin Tedder.
Honorary bridesmaids were Atlanta Feagin, Gayla Feagin, Rhonda Cantley, Heather Singleton and Barbara Thrasher.
Junior bridesmaids were Abbey Collins, McKinley Collins, Jordan Jeffers, Evanne Rogers, Gracen Rogers, Kayla Humphries, Sydney Baber, Rachel Richardson, Megan Revell, Madison Revell and Elizabeth Tedder.
Flower girls were Madison and Olivia Floyd.
Ring bearer was Andrew Tedder.
Junior groom was Holden Lee Feagin.
Ushers were Richard H. Collins Jr., W. Legrand Welch II, Jason Carter and Jared Jolly.
A reception followed at Florence Country Club in
Florence. After a wedding trip to Bora Bora, the couple will live in Florence.
