Realtor Association of the Greater Pee Dee raises $27,000

Members of the Greater Pee Dee Realtor Association and the Florence Little Theatre raised more than $27,000 for the American Cancer Society with their recent benefit, “New York! New York! Another Night on Broadway.”

Members performed a showcase of Broadway musicals at Florence Little Theatre.

“This is a great day for our Association and a better day for the fight against cancer,” Realtor Association President Joey McMillan said. “Nonprofit organizations like the American Cancer Society have had a difficult time raising needed funds during this economic downturn. Realtors have had a difficult time also, and that’s what makes this a great day in the fight against cancer.”

First Reliance Bank sponsored a dessert and wine reception after the performance.
