Florence 1 seeks volunteer tutors, mentors

Florence School District 1 seeks volunteers to serve as tutors or mentors. In order to participate, an interested person must first complete an application and a SLED background check form. Applications and SLED forms are available at the Florence School District 1 Administration Office, 319 S. Dargan St., and on the Florence School District 1 website: www.fsd1.org.

Applications will be screened by the Florence School District One Office of Human Resources. If eligible, applicants will be notified of permission to attend the upcoming the mentor training session, which will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Florence School District One Administration Office.
