GAVIN JACKSON/MORNING NEWS FILE Though the landowner did notify the South Carolina Forestry Commission of their burn and have fire breaks in place, wind caused a debris burn to spread-- threatening pine forests surrounding the area in Pamplico on Jan. 17, 2012.
