As a trained minister of the Gospel, Vick has demonstrated a deep reverence for traditional southern family values. As a small businessman and independent capitalist, he understands the dynamics of the most powerful engine of prosperity the world has ever known: the American capitalist system. In addition to today's announcement, Ted Vick is also planning a campaign kickoff event for early 2012.
"Everything in the United States has become political. Everything is 'us' versus 'them.' Folks in Washington and in Columbia seem to be more concerned with scoring political points than doing the important work of governing. I believe that the people of South Carolina deserve better. Ted Vick lives in Chesterfield County, South Carolina with his wife Melissa and his twin eight-year-old daughters Willow and Laurel.
