GREEN SEA, SC - A small woods fire near the Green Sea community in Horry County temporarily shut down a rural road Tuesday morning.
According to the SC Highway Patrol's website, Mount Olive Church Road near Long Branch Road was closed around 11 a.m. due to heavy smoke in the area.
Reports from the scene indicated the fire was approximately 2 acres in size.
It did not appear the fire threatened any structures.
