LORIS, SC - A motorcyclist was flown to an area hospital after hitting the back of a moped in Loris Wednesday night.
Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the accident happened around 8:45 p.m. on Mt. Zion Road in Loris after a motorcyclist hit the back of a moped.
The motorcyclist was flown by Lifecare to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the moped was transported by ground to Loris Community Hospital.
There is no other information on the accident at this time.
