Police: Teen arrested for having stun gun at Horry County school

CONWAY, SC - An Horry County student was arrested Wednesday after police said he brought a stun gun to school.

According Sgt. Robert Kegler, the 18-year old student brought the stun gun to the Academy for Technology and Academics on Highway 701 outside Conway.

Booking reports indicate Harlan Howard Bell was booked into J Reuben Long Detention Center at 11:21 a.m. and was charged with carrying weapon on school property.
