Trinity Collegiate students selected as candidates for up to $40,000 in scholarship money

Two Trinity Collegiate School seniors have been selected as Carolina Scholar Candidates.

Caroline Naso and Daniel Young are two of only 50 candidates named this year out of an applicant pool of more than 8,800 high school seniors from South Carolina.  Selection is based on academic record and personal accomplishments.

Naso and Young will interview with the Carolina Scholar selection committee whereafter 20 candidates will be named Carolina Scholars for fall 2012. Finalists are guaranteed to receive at least $28,000 and up to $40,000 in scholarship money, spread out over four years.
