The Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) will hold an information session at 6 p.m. Thursday at Francis Marion University to learn about the curriculum, residential life and admissions.
The Governor's School is looking for academically motivated high school sophomores who are passionate about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and who are eager to learn more about economics and entrepreneurship. GSSM is one of only 12 public, residential high schools in the nation specializing in science and math.
The Florence SmartTalk session is designed as a Q&A session that will serve as a great opportunity to meet alumni and faculty while learning about curriculum, residential life and admissions. The session will be at the Lee Nursing Building, Room 137 at FMU.
To RSVP, contact Brigitte Barnett, Marketing and Recruitment Manager, at 803-201-9168 or Brigitte@scgssm.org.
