PAWLEYS ISLAND - Pawleys Island police responded to a call Wednesday morning about a kidnapping from 274 Myrtle Avenue.
Wednesday night, Dyshan Malik William Fraiser, 18, was arrested and Thursday Nequan Brown, 17, was also picked up by police.
They face charges in connection to two people taken at gunpoint in a white truck and headed towards Walmart in Georgetown Wednesday morning around 2:15.
Police located the vehicle parked in a parking space in the Walmart parking lot.
Then the suspect drove to the north entrance of Walmart and ran a red light.
Afterwards, the driver took off on Hwy. 701 towards Anthuan Maybank Blvd.
The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle and a chase ensued that reached approximately 85 miles per hour.
Eventually the truck took a turn into Merriman road and then Sims Street.
Once on Sims Street, police said the suspect's vehicle began to lose control and ran into a mailbox but the chase continued.
Police say the driver went towards Levy Alley and ran through a wire fence, hitting a slightly raised mound of dirt. Once the vehicle hit the mound of dirt, it lost control again and slid through the back yard of a residence at the intersection of North Hazzard street and North Fraser Street.
The driver of the vehicle was unable to regain control of the truck and crashed into the back right corner of the residence disabling the truck.
While in pursuit of the truck, police hit the same mound of dirt damaging the patrol car.
After the suspect vehicle crashed into the house, police said two black males exited the drivers side window of the truck and took off.
Knowing the subjects were armed and there were other occupants inside the truck, the deputy did not give chase.
As police went towards the vehicle a third subject attempted to exit the truck through the drivers side window.
It turns out he was a victim.
Brandon Carter and his mother, Sheryl Barnes Walker told police they were kidnapped at gunpoint and didn't know the men.
Guns and a ski mask were found in the car.
Police said 17-year old Nequan Brown has been identified as the driver and 18-year old Frasier as the accomplice. Both teens are from Pawleys Island.
The teens face several charges including failure to stop for blue lights, reckless driving and kidnapping.
