An arrest warrant has been obtained for Kareem Labonte Vereen in connection with a deadly shooting in Longs last week.
Vereen, 21, is wanted for murder in connection with the Feb. 9 shooting on JC Lane, according to the Horry County Police Department. A man, who police have not yet identified, died at an Horry County hospital after say he was shot in the leg on JC Lane, off of Pint Circle in Longs.
Vereen is also wanted for armed robbery in connection with an incident that occurred earlier this year.
