RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina player is sharing a $113 million jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery game.

The North Carolina Education Lottery announced Saturday that one ticket sold in Greenville and another sold in California both matched six numbers to claim the jackpot.

Each ticket is worth more than $56 million if the winnings are taken over time, or about $42 million if the winner takes a lump sum. The winner has six months to claim the prize.

It's the second time a North Carolina gambler has won the Mega Millions jackpot. A retired Greensboro businessman won $12 million in May 2010, four months after North Carolina's lottery started offering the game.

The Powerball multistate game has had three North Carolina jackpot winners taking between $74 million and $141 million.
