The Carolina Kids children will close out their week today with a pizza party at the Pizza Hut in Hartsville.
The second round of Week in the Will begins July 11 for first and second-graders. Third and fourth-graders will be at camp the week of July 18, and fifth and sixth-graders attend camp the week of July25.
Andrea Pulling, director of Carolina Kids, said they are thankful to the tremendous support of the community in making this week possible. Garden clubs, civic clubs, the Master Gardeners of Darlington County, Wesley United Methodist Church, Pizza Hut, and the Rotary Club of Hartsville were all contributors in making this possible for 14 children who might not otherwise have been able to attend the week-long camp at Kalmia Gardens.
