NORTH MYRTLE BEACH - The City of North Myrtle Beach has scheduled minor structural repairs for the Barefoot Resort swing bridge, located on Barefoot Resort Bridge Road.
Nighttime road closure will be required to perform this work.
The bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10 PM to 6 AM each night, beginning Sunday, October 3rd through Thursday, October 7th.
Normal traffic access will resume for Friday, October 8th and Saturday, October 9th.
If necessary, nighttime closures will resume on Sunday, October 10th through Thursday, October 14th.
Additionally, boat traffic along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway will be restricted during the same hours because bridge openings will not be possible during repairs.
Provisions have been made to provide access for emergency services during this time.
This schedule is weather-dependent and may be revised in the event of inclement weather.
