Horry Electric Cooperative, Inc. representatives presented Super Energy Saver science kits to fourth grade teachers at Waccamaw Elementary School. All fourth grade teachers in the District will receive one of the kits.

CONWAY - Horry Electric Cooperative, Inc. delivered more than 130 Super Energy Saver science kits to Horry County Schools’ fourth grade teachers.
Featuring the Touchstone Energy mascot CFL Charlie, each kit includes lessons in energy that focus on electrical safety, energy savings and renewable energy resources.
The kits work hand-in-hand with an online education component, www.palmettopower.com, which is co-sponsored by Horry Electric Cooperative, Inc.
The website includes a South Carolina standards-based collection of learning activities for K-7 teachers and students.
