City officials have issued guidelines concerning the celebration of Halloween in city limits.
- Florence recommends that Halloween be recognized on Oct. 31 except for the years when the 31 is on Sunday at which time Halloween should be recognized on Saturday the 30
- Florence recommends that children should trick-or-treat from 5- 8 p.m. and only children under the age of 15 should participate
- The City recommends that residents welcoming trick-or-treaters leave a porch light or other exterior light on.
