MYRTLE BEACH -- Pom poms and spirit fingers bombarded the Grand Strand Saturday as part Can-Am week.
Four thousand cheerleaders from across the country competed in the national competition held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
Squads of all age groups performed stunts and choreographed dances.
The competition is the only one in Myrtle Beach where cheerleaders can move on to the world championships.
