FLORENCE — The Greater Florence Habitat for Humanity will be holding an application meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in the the Drs. Bruce & Lee Foundation Library Meeting Room for those interested in applying for our housing program. The meeting is limited to families who live in Florence County.

Greater Florence Habitat for Humanity helps low-income families in Florence County build safe, decent and affordable homes. The organization provides land, building materials, volunteer labor and a 20-year no-interest mortgage for families in need of housing. It also provides the opportunity for families to put 300 hours of “sweat equity” into their homes.

The application meeting will provide families with detailed information about the program along with an application. Interested families must be present at the meeting to receive an application. Call (843) 665-1624 for more information.
