MARION — The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating a four-vehicle crash resulting from a high-speed chase that left a sheriff’s deputy and two other motorists injured late Friday afternoon.

Marion County deputies were assisting Latta police in a vehicle pursuit traveling on U.S. 501 coming into Marion County, Sheriff Mark Richardson said

The chase began in Latta and ended in the parking lot of the IGA grocery store south of Marion on South Main Street, Marion Police Lt. Farmer Blue said.
