Chesterfield County schools will collect completed 2010 Census Forms and mail them in the prepaid envelope provided. The principal will determine the process of turning in the forms and mailing them for their school.
Students with siblings in other classes or schools will be provided a form by the collecting teacher for the sibling(s) to be credited for the information provided for their family. Students may collect and be credited for forms from other family members or friends, i.e. grandparents or neighbors.
Each elementary, middle and high school will have an opportunity to win. A class in each school will also have an opportunity to win.
Winners will be determined by percentage of returned forms.
Winners will be announced 3 to 5 p.m. April 6 during the Census Tour Bus and Road Show at Chesterfield-Ruby Middle School. There will be door prizes, food and fun at this event.
