An eight-run seventh inning gave Darlington (1-1) a come-from-behind win in the Hartsville preseason tournament on March 3.
Cameron McCrae was 2-for-4 with two RBI for the Falcons. Quan Robinson allowed two earned runs on five hits in seven innings to pick up the win.

BISHOPVILLE — Katie McElveen hit a game-winning single over third base in the bottom of the eighth inning to lead Robert E. Lee’s softball team (1-2) to its first win of the season.
McElveen was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI and starter Hannah Hancock allowed just two runs and struck out 16 in eight innings.

HARTSVILLE — Sarah Catherine Beasley and Lindsey Zubel each drove in two runs as Trinity Collegiate softball (1-0) opened its season with a big win. Grace Rogers picked up the win, allowing one hit in three innings.

LAMAR — Pat Windham drove in two runs and Alex Dorriety struck out 10 as Lamar moved on to the semifinals of the Johnsonville preseason tournament with a 10-0 win over Carvers Bay in six innings on Thursday in high school baseball.
Rob Joye scored three runs for the Silver Foxes, who will face Hannah-Pamplico today in Lake City.
