CONWAY - A Surfside man is in jail Wednesdasy after police said he broke into a condo the Arrowhead Subdivision.
Michael Paul McCracken, 26 of Surfside Beach was charged with burglary 1st degree and possessing burglary tools.
According to a press release, officers responded to an address on Riverwalk Dr. around 12:30 a.m. in reference to a burglary in progress.
It was reported that an unknown person was removing items from the condo unit while the occupants were not there.
A vehicle matching the description of what the suspect was driving was found inside the subdivision and a traffic stop was initiated.
Inside the vehicle was a flat screen television, numerous DVDs and jewelry; all of which were taken from the condo unit. The suspect was arrested and taken to the J. Rueben Long Detention Center.

Michael Paul McCracken (26 YOA B/M) DOB: 09-15-83. He resides in the Surfside Beach section of Horry County. He is currently in custody at the J. Rueben Long Detention Center. Charges: Burglary 1st Degree, Possession of Burglary Tools
