CONWAY – Horry County police officers arrested two women who they believe were manufacturing marijuana.
Officers with the Narcotics and Vice Section worked with SLED agents to complete the Marijuana Eradication Operation June 9th in Conway and Aynor.
During the two-day operation, officers seized 168 marijuana plants which had a street value of $537,600.
They located three locations with marijuana, and made arrests at two of them.
Police arrested Carla Toney Sellers, 59, of Conway, where they seized 139 marijuana plants.
Police seized 13 marijuana plants from Leigh Anderson, 45, of Aynor.
Both women are charged with manufacturing marijuana.
The third location is in Conway, where officers seized 16 plants. Officers are still investigating that case, but have not made any arrests there yet.
